Christmas Decoration Research

November 13th, 2007 · 2 Comments

I want to make some ornaments for Christmas. I have been brainstorming the quickest way to do this. As always I start on the internet.

I found a flickr group ornament swap group from last year. Too late to sign up this year but should be fun to watch what people create and gather ideas for next year.

Martha Stewart has lots, of course.

Yo-yo

I am really keen to try these yo-yo’s. Tutorial here, Application found here.

Anthropology has some beautiful things

So these are some, I will arm myself with inspiration and see if I manage to do anything with it….

There is a neat little Yo-Yo Maker from Clover…tutorial for it Here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/42036343@N00/2035990772/in/photostream/

I have read reviews and some say it is faster to make them the old fashioned way, but others like the Yo-Yo Maker more. To each his own! It’s only like $5.00 or so…so you can give it a go, yo!

Thanks! Actually I tried them and decided it took too long to do… :) I have other things I have done, but waiting for a camera to take pictures of them to show on my blog..
